SaraH: mm..lucky u! I've got Hiroko sensei for reading, writing and speech. The emphasis of the course is on conversation. We follow the text but end up chatting about Japanese culture and Japan; and still complete before schedule. Your Japanese must be reaL fluent.
SaraH: mm..I juz doing pure Commerce, but I took up part-time Japanese course at the Uni's centre for modern languages. Do u juz have exams on the languages then?? Well, my 1st paper's next Tue, and the last on 2nd June...7 to take in all.
SaraH: OH mY!!! I go to Birmingham Uni as weLL!!! I'm 2nd year in Commerce. And u?? Have u got exams??

Exams defeated!!!

Wow! Haven't made an entry in my journal for a while now! This was mainly due to my evil exams which have now ended! My French Grammar (3 hours long!) was ok, I got what I needed anyway but my modern France paper was truly the spawn of Satan (ok, maybe I didn't revise enough)! How the hell am I suppossed to know who said some really obscure quote from 19?? Like one of my uni friends said- "When we go to France, are we really going to talk to them about this kind of stuff?" I think not. As for my Japanese paper (again 3 hours- in chairs obviously designed for maximum disomfort!), it went really well, think I got about 80% and was happy since I got to use loads of Kanji (mmm, satisfying!)! Anyway i've got loads of time now until I start again in late September! I am really excited though baecause in just over 2 weeks i'm going on holiday to Spain with my friends! The only bad thing was that I had to pay £25 to have the name on my ticket changed because of a mix up made, when my best friend booked it. Not good, considering that i'm not working at the moment and every bit matters- got to get a new job when I get back! I wanted to spend my summer writing my band's new album but oh well, i'll just have to deal with it as best I can. Anyway, while i'm in the mood, I think i'll go and work on it!
